An experienced industry professional with over 19 years of practice in the upstream and integrated Oil and gas operations across Africa.
He is highly skilled in offshore operations with a vast experience across all facets of the industry. Started his career as a young Engineer in the Port Harcourt Refinery, Nigeria before joining the Shell Petroleum Development Company where he worked in several assets, OML46 and offshore fields (i.e., OML 79) and attained several leadership positions. Operations Manager and presently Asset Management lead on OML79
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri and a Masters degree in Petroleum Technology from Curtin University of Technology Australia.
A member of several professional bodies including the Council of Engineering Regulation in Nigeria (COREN) and licensed by the Engineering Council United Kingdom under the Energy Institute as a Chartered Petroleum Engineer.
